What are the 21st-century skills every student needs?
The gap between the skills people learn and the skills people need is becoming more obvious, as traditional learning falls short of equipping students with the knowledge they need to thrive, according to the World Economic Forum report New Vision for Education: Fostering Social and Emotional Learning Through Technology.

What Does A UX Designer Actually Do?
What does a UX designer actually do? I’ve been asked that a lot since I completed the CareerFoundry UX Design Course and those asking have ranged from my Mum to people at networking events to, more worryingly, business leaders and people who work in IT. There’s still a lot of confusion surrounding the field, which is why, as a UX designer, you’ll often find your first task in a new job is clearly explaining the value you’ll be bringing to the company and how you’ll bring that about.
What Does a UX Designer Actually Do?
I still remember the first time I came across the term “User Experience Designer”. It was years ago, embedded in the email signature of a friend of mine—someone whose job I never quite understood. So I asked him.
His answer fundamentally changed how I designed websites from that day forward. Not because of what he actually said (he mumbled something about usability and research) but because of the ongoing discussion that ensued. That discussion prompted me to dig deeper into the world of UX, re-evaluate my processes, and dramatically shape my career.
User Experience Design & Research Jargons
As a Senior UX Designer at the SAP Design & Co-Innovation Center I often have to deal with a lot of different terms since designers and researchers use jargon everywhere. It came to my mind that non-designers are sometimes confused by what these terms mean. Therefore, I put together a list of design jargon I’ve come across over the years, along with their meaning.
